Teriyaki Marinade

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup pineapple juice

¼ cup sherry or favorite wine*

1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger  (or ¼ tsp ground ginger)

1 tablespoon Hyde’n Bee Honey

1 clove garlic, minced

1 pound prepared meat (fish, steak, or chicken)

 

Thaw meat if frozen and pat dry.  Cut into serving size pieces.  In a separate bowl, add 1st seven ingredients and whisk together.  Place marinade in a zip lock bag along with your choice of meat.  Remove most of the air and seal the bag.  Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.  Remove meat from marinade.  Grill, make kabobs, or broil until cooked through.  Enjoy!

*Can substitute apple juice for sherry but it will alter the taste.
